As Associate Director at Silverback, Emma plays a pivotal role in supporting Alison Beard with the management and strategic growth of the Insolvency Team. She provides training, guidance, and operational support across multiple departments, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the insolvency function. Working closely with the leadership team, she helps elevate and promote the firm’s insolvency offering, strengthening Silverback Law’s position as a key player in the sector.

Emma’s core focus is driving the expansion of the team by delivering tailored services for both pre‑ and post‑insolvency corporate and personal matters. Her ambition is to help establish Silverback Law as a market leader in insolvency practice.

With a degree in Business Administration, Emma has built a strong academic and professional foundation. She qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive and brings over 14 years’ PQE to her role alongside over 20 years of debt recovery experience. She is an active member of the Leeds and Newcastle Business and Property Courts Forum, the Hereford & Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce, and the Worcester Law Society, enabling her to maintain valuable connections and stay informed on industry developments as well as contributing her expertise to the wider legal community.

Outside of work, Emma enjoys spending quality time with her young family, exploring the countryside and local lakes. She leads an active lifestyle, with interests including the gym, walking, and paddleboarding, and she is passionate about health and fitness. When she finds time to unwind, she loves dining out and socialising with friends
