As a Junior Debt Recovery Paralegal at Silverback Law, Leah is beginning to establish their role within Silverback Law, her key responsibilities include case management, court filing, issuing claims, and securing judgments. Leah is also developing a working knowledge of enforcement options available to clients.

With over 12 years of experience in debt recovery, Leah’s career began as a telephone negotiator at Sigma Connected in 2012. She quickly progressed to roles as a Performance Coach and Team Manager, demonstrating strong leadership abilities. After taking time to care for her daughter, she transitioned into sales as a Domestic Sales Executive, where she managed all clients within the South of England and oversaw an impressive annual turnover of over £100,000.

Following the birth of her second child, Leah shifted focus to commercial debt recovery and litigation, taking on the role of Commercial Collections Specialist at Top Service. This position allowed them to deepen her expertise, particularly in the construction industry. Most recently, she spent three years at Wright Hassall as a Communications Team Leader in the Debt Recovery Unit, where she were responsible for managing, coaching, and training collections agents, often overseeing large teams.

Although did not attending university, Leah pursued A Levels in Law, History, Sociology, and English Literature at college, which laid a strong foundation for their career in the legal field.

As a busy working mother of three children and a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Jasper, finding limited time for hobbies is limited. However, she have recently signed up for the gym and enjoys reading and spa days with friends. With a well-known sweet tooth, Leah absolutely loves cake, especially Victoria sponge.
