As the Team Leader in Silverback Law’s Debt Recovery team, Michelle brings extensive experience and dedication to her role, supporting the team in helping key clients recover unpaid debts. Having progressed from Client Manager to Assistant Team Leader within three years, she manages her own client caseload while guiding the team’s daily recovery strategy, coordinating responsibilities, and offering assistance with both expertise and humour (and a bit of chocolate on the side). Michelle’s strong foundation as a qualified specialist paralegal is enhanced by many years of industry experience.

Michelle is proud of the collaborative spirit within her team and is passionate about facilitating a supportive, dynamic environment where everyone can succeed. She is especially skilled at working with diverse clients, handling debts across industries as varied as technology and specialty foods, which brings unique challenges and triumphs every day.

Outside of work, Michelle stays active and engaged in her community. Known among friends as “Happy Feet,” she enjoys tap dancing and Clubbercise classes each week, bringing the same enthusiasm to the dance floor that she does to the office. Weekends are spent with her family and her beloved cockapoo, Bramble, who is a constant companion, often curled up at Michelle’s feet during the workweek or joining her on weekend shopping outings. Whether reading a great book, enjoying a good walk, or bringing joy to her team, Michelle brings dedication, heart, and a bit of sparkle to everything she does.
