Sara Souyave is the Head of Commercial Services at Silverback, bringing two decades of experience in commercial litigation, debt recovery, and insolvency. Before qualifying as a Solicitor, Sara studied Law and Business Studies at Birmingham University and completed the Legal Practice Course at BPP Law School in Leeds.

Sara began her career at Shulmans LLP, where she specialised in commercial and debt litigation, developing a strong reputation for providing commercially astute and technically accurate advice. She also led teams at Shulmans and Knights PLC, managing high-volume debt recovery and litigation matters for a diverse range of clients, from SMEs to PLCs, leveraging technology-driven processes to provide exceptional service.

Prior to her role at Silverback, Sara was the Director of Litigation at Goldsmith Bowers, where she led a team in resolving a variety of commercial disputes. Now, as the Head of Commercial Services, she plays a crucial role in overseeing the Insolvency, Commercial Litigation, and Debt Recovery teams, driving strategic growth and enhancing service value.

Outside of her professional pursuits, Sara regularly plays netball and she is an avid supporter of the Leeds Rhinos netball team. When she’s not on the court, she enjoys exploring the Yorkshire Dales.
